This Kenya lodge is a beautiful retreat set in Lake Nakuru National Park – home to thousands of pink Flamingos and pelicans. This exotic park boasts a rich concentration of Kenya wildlife including black and white Colobus Monkeys and is also a famed Rhino sanctuary. Look for temperamental Black Rhinos in the bushes, and larger White Rhinos cropping the grass along the lakeside while staying at this Kenya safari lodge. Nowhere else will you get a photo of a Rhino backed by a mirage of pastel pink Flamingos on a shimmering soda lake.
The National Park is full of unusual environments including strange cactus-like Euphorbia trees and eerie forests of flakey-barked Fever trees 100 feet tall. It has also become renowned for its daytime Leopard sightings.

Elephants
|
Elephants need to consume about 4-6% of their bodyweight every day and must therefore eat for about 16 hours a day. Their digestion is very poor so they eat everything including bark, leaves, grass and shrubs.
