At this Kenya safari lodge, accommodation is available in the following styles:
Family Villas – Number 1 and Number 2:
The first set of accommodation is the family villas. The family Villas are stone-built houses with beautiful entrance halls. There is a large sitting room with a fireplace, 3-piece lounge suite, desk, book-case, Persian rugs and a verandah with sweeping views over Lake Naivasha and Longonot.
There is 2 bedrooms, 1 with a large double bed and one with 2 single beds, both with en-suite bathrooms. All beds are four-poster made from natural cedar wood, bathrooms include a basin, bidet, toilet and bath-tub. The sitting room contains a day-bed available for an extra occupant if required for your accommodation. There is tea and coffee-making facilities in the villa for your comfort.
The Cottages – Numbers 3, 4, 5 and 6:
The cottages have an eco-friendly straw-bale construction theme. There is 1 large double room plus an en-suite bathroom. Numbers 3, 4 and 6 have a large double bed, while number 5 has 2 single beds. All the cottages for the accommodation at Malu Farm, have verandahs with sweeping views over Lake Naivasha and Longonot. All beds are four-poster made from natural cedar wood.
For your comfort the cottages have been furnished with a fireplace, settee, an armchair, Persian rugs and a book-case. There is a day-bed available for an extra occupant if required for your accommodation. Your bathroom includes a basin, toilet, shower and bath-tub. There is Tea and coffee-making facilities in the cottages.
Treehouse (2 kilometres from the main lodge within the Malu Reserve):
The treehouse is a large timber house on stilts. It is the ultimate type of accommodation. There is a spacious living room, dining and kitchen area. The treehouse is available either on a self-catering or full-board basis.
If you would like to cater for yourself, the treehouse has full self-catering facilities with a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms; 1 with a large double bed and one with 2 single beds, both have an en-suite bathroom. There is a large verandah offering panoramic views over the Malewa river. The treehouse is not recommended for children under 5 years old.
The Restaurant and Bar:
The restaurant is a round, thatched makuti roofed building with a central fireplace and a beautifully thatched veranda to give you spectacular views. Delicious home-style Italian cuisine is offered. Meals are Table d’hote (set menu). This accommodation in Kenya has it's own vegetables, free-range eggs and Jersey milk. Vegetarians can be catered for and are welcome to Malu Farm.
