Governors' Private Camp is located on the Mara River in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya. Governors' Private Camp is open throughout the year in the Masai Mara, Kenya. High season months August to October (Great Migration) and December to March. The long green season is from the end of March to the end of May, and the short green season is in November.
Air Kenya has scheduled flights twice daily from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Musiara Airstrip (duration of approximately 45 minutes). There is a meet and greet and transfer with a Land Rover to the camp (duration of approximately 15 minutes). Returns from Musiara Airstrip to Nairobi twice daily. There are scheduled flights from other airports in Kenya such as Nanyuki, Lamu, Samburu, Malindi, Mombasa and Ukunda (Diani).
Road transfer:
Exiting or going to Nairobi takes about 6 hours (depending on road conditions).

Please note:
There is a luggage restriction of 15 kilograms on all domestic flights. Extra luggage can be left at your base hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. Bookings can be done through your local ground handling agent or directly with Governors’ Camp.
