The Masai Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti in Tanzania, and although it lies in Kenya, there are no fences to stop animals moving between the two countries. The Reserve belongs to and is managed by the Maasai people.

Hot Air Ballooning

Hot air ballooning is not an instant adrenaline sport - more of a spiritual upliftment experience. You never know what might appear and there may be nothing much one morning and a lion kill the next. These enormous balloons hold twelve people.

Wildebeest Migration

The urge to move northwards in search of better grazing is so overpowering that more than a million wildebeest, accompanied by hundreds of thousands of zebras and antelopes take part in the greatest migration on earth from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara.
